Jamai Raja
A disciplinarian millionaire woman, Durgeshwari Devi (Hema Malini) is disgruntled when her daughter Rekha (Madhuri Dixit) falls in love with a street-smart but a poor and unemployed collegian Raja (Anil Kapoor). Hoping to dissuade him from marrying her daughter, she tells Raja that she will give her consent to their marriage only if he is willing to stay in her house as a son-in-law. She tries every trick in the book to taint his reputation in Rekha's eyes, but is she successful?
