A psychotic serial killer who murders beautiful women he apparantly is in love with, is loose on the streets of Nainital. Neha Chopra (Karishma Kapoor) moves there to work for the womanising city mayor, Jai Singh (Jackie Shroff). She meets Raj Singh (Dino Morea), a local vagabond that most people avoid, and falls in love with him. The Police Commissioner, Harshvardhan (Sunil Shetty), warns her about Raj, but Neha refuses to pay heed, that is, until she finds evidences at Raj's house that point towards him being the killer. Meanwhile, the sister of a murder victim wakes up from coma and wants to reveal the identity of the killer, but dies before she can do so. Who is the culprit behind these heinous crimes, and is Neha safe?
