Hero (Salman Khan) is a steadfast employee at a courier company led by Khanna (Shakti Kapoor), who is a covert druglord. Hero comes under the radar of suspicion during a police investigation, when Inspector Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) is deployed to Mumbai to bust Khanna. When Hero uncovers the truth about his boss, he confronts him. During the confrontation, Khanna kills Hero and Vishal gets shot in the heart. Hero’s heart is then transplanted to Vishal. Upon recovery, Vishal can see Hero’s playful spirit. Love-shy Vishal is even attracted to Hero's love interest Rani. Eventually Rani and Vishal fall in love, while Hero's spirit disapproves. However, rising above their conflicts, Hero teams up with Vishal to bring down Khanna and his drug empire.
