Ramji Tiwari (R. Madhavan), a skilled cook, lost his parents at an early age and has taken care of his loving sister, Parvati. The one thing Ramji wishes is to see his sister marry well. On the day of Parvati's marriage, he is unable to pay the dowry to her in-laws. Impressed by Ramji's cooking, a wedding guest offers him a job in the U.K. and Ramji goes to London to arrange for the dowry money. But due to mishappenings, he has to work there illegally. With police chasing him while he is chasing his dreams, what will Ramji do? Will Ramji prove himself innocent and manage to get the dowry?
